How we measure reach
Because SourceWire syndicates freely with no accounts, reach is measured from evidence rather than estimates: recorded republications (pickups), supplied placement URLs, attribution links back to the original story and the Madison Labs property where it was discovered, and feed and API usage.
Where a story was republished: outlet, URL, publication and detection dates, title, category, and verification state.
Links back to the original story: destination, anchor text, follow/nofollow state, and first/last seen dates.
Interfaces record when AI systems verifiably cite SourceWire stories. Only verified citations are counted; provider-specific monitoring remains a clearly labeled roadmap item.
We publish no traffic estimates, audience figures, or "potential reach." Anything not yet measured is honestly left blank.
