SourceWire API v1

Feeds

Feed entries carry the complete article plus ready-made attribution.

All three formats carry the same record; JSON Feed exposes it most directly. Each entry provides:

  • id: a stable GUID, safe to deduplicate on.
  • title, summary, content: the headline, an excerpt, and the full article text.
  • url: the permanent SourceWire story URL.
  • external_url: the Madison Labs page where the story's subject was discovered.
  • authors: the SourceWire Newsdesk byline.
  • date_published, date_modified: ISO 8601 timestamps.
  • tags: financial categories and asset tickers where detected.
  • license, attribution, attribution_html: the free-reuse statement and ready-made credit lines.

Free to republish, in full or in part, with attribution to SourceWire and a link to the original article. No fees, registration, or permission required.

A machine-readable directory of every available feed is at GET /api/v1/feeds.
